James takes Lizzy hunting

James stopped after he reached a small clearing he waited for Lizzy knowing she wasn't far behind

Lizzy flinted to his side and jumped on his back and smiled.

James laughed "hey, you" he said and flipped her over his back so she'd land in his arms he chuckled and looked down at her

Lizzy giggled and put her arms around his neck "so... how do i hunt?"

James chuckled and put her down "you have to rely on instinct instead of me teaching u how" he said quickly "but i bet you'll get the hang out of, and you can watch me first"

LIzzy looked at him and nodded biteingher lip "i think i'l watch you first."

James nodded "fine by me" he said and looked at her "but first what do you smell"

Lizzy sniffled the air "uh... rabbits, birds, sqirrels, and a... deer."

James smiled "good, do you know from what direction" he asked her

Lizzy thought about it for a few moments then pointed north.

James smiled "good, that's exactly the direction they're in"

Lizzy looked at him and smiled "ok now what?"

James looked at her "follow me" he said and flinted towards the deer stopping not too far off

Lizzy flinted to his side and poked him quick then looked at the deer.

James smiled and pressed his finger to his lips as a be quiet gesture he flinted down wind so the deer wouldn't scent him

James smiled at her "wanna go for it" he whispered to her

Lizzy looked at him then the deer and slowly crept forward, she reached a point where she knew she would spook the deer and flinted to it's side and snaped it's neck. She looked back at James smiliing.

James smiled as he watched her and flinted to her side "perfect, i couldn't of done it better myself"

Lizzy looked at him "yes you could of."

James rolled his eyes and chuckled "well it was a compliment. For your first hunt you did very well"

Lizzy nodded then looked at the deer

James looked at her sensing she was slightly uncomfortable. "Do you want to drink first" he asked her his eyebrows raised

Lizzy looked at him and nodded "yea sure." she bent down and bit into it's neck.

James leaned down next to her and expertly bit into its neck drinking the blood from its veins
