Broken May comes to her parents

May walked down the cemetary tears dripped down her cheeks. Her uncle had been shouting at her, about how useless she was. She found her parent grave just newly built and layed the flowers she had been holding onto it, as she remember the accident. The screech of wheels her mom screaming and the sharp pain in her leg. She had woken up in the hospital her leg heavily bandaged. a large piece of the windsheild had stabbed her. the small dress she had on exposed the bandage, she had a few bruises here and there that you could still see but she didn't care. She stared at the grave and put her hand over her face and started to cry. She could see her uncles mean face as she walked into the house, and how every day he thought of new ways to make her feel horrible. She raised her head and wiped the tears as she looked at the candles that flickered still from the funeral....

Steven:I walk in and see the girl crying, I walk over to her and sit by her "You ok?" I ask.

May jumps slightly as the guy sits by her, she wipes her tears with her sleeve "yes...im fine" she says in a small and pained voice

"You sure? Cuz you don't look like it" I smile small, offering her a tissue.

May took it and dabbed her cheek "how could i be" she said quietly

steven: I sit back on my heels and nod, then watch her

May looks at him with her tear drenched face "so..what are you doing here" she asks curiously

"Visiting my brother" I say, pointing over to a marble headstone. "and you?"

May looks at him "my parents" she said wiping her eyes again looking back at the headstone that she sat in front off

Steven:I nod "Im sorry" I say honestly, and quietly.

May looked at him "thanks" she said and looked back at the grave

Steven:I nod, unsure of what to say, I had never been one to talk much, and right now it didn't seem to be polite to start a conversation. I sit there, trying to act nonchalant.

May sniffed once more before grabbing her purse beside her and standing up revealing her heavily bandaged thigh

i look at the bandage, then at her concerned "Are you ok?" I ask

"oh" May looks slightly down "its nothing, im fine" she said and looked at him and simply shrugged

I nod, still concerned "Alright" I say and stand up as well.

May gave a small smile "i think im going to go get something to eat" she said

Steven:"May I tag along?" I ask "wait, sorry, I am Steven, and you are?"

"May" she said and gave a small smile "its nice to you meet you and yes i would like it if you tagged along" she said

Steven:I chuckle and a grin plays on my face, not a sly one, but more like an embbarressed (Sp I know haha) one. "Thanks" I manage to say, glad I sounded more nonchalant than I was.

May gave a small smile and started to walk away from the graves looking behind her to see if steven was coming

Steven:I follow her, keeping my distance.

May slowed down and matched her pace to Steven's she looked at him for a second before countinuing walking down the trail that lead out from the graves
